Galaxy Z Fold 3 Is The Latest Foldable To Get The January 2022 Security Update

A new Samsung device powered by Snapdragon 888 5G, the Galaxy Z Fold 3, was launched in August 2021. It offers a 7.6-inch Foldable Dynamic AMOLED display plus 512GB internal memory and 12GB RAM. One UI 3.1.1, a version of Android 11 that comes out of the box, runs the device. The smartphone sports a 12-megapixel triple rear camera, as well as a 10-megapixel sensor on the cover display and a 4-megapixel sensor under the display. It was also announced that they would be launching the Galaxy Z Flip 3. The chipset is the same as the one on the iPhone 8 Plus, and comes with 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage. On the back of the smartphone are two 12-megapixel sensors, and on the front is a 10-megapixel sensor.

Galaxy Z Fold 3 international users have started receiving the latest security updates from Samsung. The UK unlocked models of the smartphone were released with the new security patch earlier today.

F926BXXS1BUL8 is the firmware version for the international variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 3. It is currently being rolled out in the Caucasus region, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Ukraine. The latest Samsung foldable smartphone is likely to receive a new security update in more countries soon.

Security and privacy vulnerabilities found in Galaxy devices were fixed in the January 2022 update. Several bugs were fixed as well as the device's stability was improved.

You can check for it manually if you haven't received it yet by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install.
