The pixel buds pro are the AirPods Pro Rivals we've been waiting for?

Pre-orders for the Google Pixel Buds Pro will begin on July 21, 2022. The Google Pixel Buds Pro is an upgraded version of the Google Pixel Buds.

With its latest true wireless earbuds, Google has included features like multipoint connection, which enables the earbuds to be paired with multiple devices simultaneously, active noise cancellation with a transparent pass-through mode, and later this year, Google Home Mini. Support for spatial audio has been added.

But Google still offers a couple of tricks that Apple can't: the Pixel Buds Pro will come with Google Assistant for smart home control and will support more than a dozen languages. Google allows.

On top of that, they will only cost $299 / $299 AUD (about £160) when they eventually become available to the general public.

True wireless earbuds aren't affected by Pixel Buds, but Pixel Buds were always a good choice for Pixel phone owners. In terms of sound quality and active noise cancellation, Google's earbuds were pretty mediocre.

By launching Pixel Buds Pro, Google is hoping to change that opinion with new features, a revised design, and, naturally, active noise cancellation.

At Google IO, Google unveiled Buds that are a bit bigger than previous versions since the buds contain more microphones and a larger battery. Google says its team has done its research to ensure the new earphones are comfortable to wear for hours with a newly developed sensor that measures the pressure being built in the ear canal.

Since Google says its support for spatial audio won't be available for a while, added comfort will be crucial for its Pixel Buds, which are ready to rival Apple's earbuds.

In the unlikely event that Google fixes all the issues with the Pixel Buds Pro, Android fans will have an entirely new set of genuine earbuds to use with their new Google Pixel 7.
